Dodik: RS must not be a vassal to the West

N1

The Republika Srpska (RS) entity President Milorad Dodik said that vassalage to some Western countries which is currently evident, will not help this entity. Its partnership with Russia, on the other hand, definitely will. He added that RS must not give up on the good relations with Russia, and stressed that it must strengthen them.

“If we were to become vassals to Western policies, RS would get nothing from the West, and it would lose mighty Russia as its friend,” Dodik said after returning from the economic forum in Saint Petersburg

He stressed that this option would provide RS with nothing, and added that RS’ use of Bosnia and Herzegovina is not even nothing, but it provides a negative balance for this Serb-dominated entity, year after year, with all its inefficiencies of the system, blockades and the state of constant confusion.

The RS is an entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina, consisting of two entities, The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) and the RS, as well as the District Brcko in the north of the country.
