Police said Wednesday that they found 665 kilograms of what appears to be Cannabis Sativa, inside a truck they stopped on the road near the southern coastal town of Neum.

The driver, who has Croatian and Bosnian citizenship, was detained and taken in for questioning before facing the prosecutor. The cannabis was packed in 89 bags and police said it was heading to Western European countries.

The confiscation was part of a police operation codenamed ‘Petrol Line’.
