Banjaluka police said they interrogated over 20 suspects, in connection with the attack against BN TV’s reporter Vladimir Kovacevic who was brutally attacked on Sunday by two unknown individuals who beat him in front of his apartment building with expandable batons.

After receiving the call on Sunday, that two masked individuals attacked a 36-year-old BN TV’s reporter, Banjaluka police and the District Prosecutor's Office have been cooperating on solving the case.

“So far, more than 20 suspects were interrogated in connection with the said incident. The police also found a number of items which can be used as evidence in the case,” Banjaluka police said.

They added that they will continue to work on the case until perpetrators are identified and the case is solved.

Banja Luka District Prosecutor’s Office said on Monday that the attack on BN TV’s reporter Vladimir Kovacevic will be treated as the crime of attempted murder.
