Preliminary election results for Bosnian Parliament

The Democratic Action Party (SDA) and the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) lead the race for Bosnia’s Parliamentary Assembly, said the state election watchdog after counting 65,86 percent of votes from Bosnia’s general election, held on October 7.

After counting 58.91 of votes from the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) entity, the SDA leads the race with 133,664 votes (25.31 percent), followed by the coalition gathered around the Croat Democratic Party (HDZ BiH), with 98,500 votes (18.65 percent), Social Democratic Party (SDP) with 73,558 votes (13,93 percent), Democratic Front (DF) and Civic Alliance (GS) coalition with 46,908 votes (8.88 percent) Party for the Better Future (SBB) with 31,994 votes (6.06 percent). The rest of the votes went to the Democratic Action Movement (PDA), Croat Democratic Union 1990 (HDZ 1990)-Croat Peasant Party (HSO BiH), A-SDA, Our Party, Independent Bloc and People and Justice Party.

When it comes to the votes from the Republika Srpska (RS) entity, after counting 76.03 votes, the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) leads with 185,009 votes (39.58 percent), followed by the Serb Democratic Party (SDS) with 119,421 votes (25.55 percent), Party of Democratic Progress (PDP) 57,516 votes (12.31 percent), Democratic National Alliance (DNS) 47,473 votes (10.16 votes), Socialist Party (SP) with 21,802 (4.66 percent) and the SDA with 17,424 votes (3.73 percent).
