The People and Justice party filed criminal complaints to Bosnia’s special police (SIPA) for alleged election fraud they observed in the Sarajevo Canton.

After collecting material evidence, the party said they submitted criminal complaints on alleged election fraud committed by the ruling parties. The reports refer to alleged irregularities in the work of municipal election commissions and polling stations committees violating the Election Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This centrist party pointed to the situation in the Sarajevo Canton (central Bosnia) where only three municipalities provided amended decisions on changes in municipal election commissions “implying that other municipal commissions, which had not submitted any amendments to their decisions to changes of municipal election commissions, allowed unidentified persons to work with ballots.”

The People and Justice party also said that ballot recounts in the Sarajevo Canton were allegedly not done in accordance with the state Election Law and other bylaws and added that they informed the state election watchdog, the Central Election Commission and Head of the OSCE mission to Bosnia Bruce G. Berton of their findings.
