Director of Kosovo’s State IT Agency, Kujtim Gashi, said Friday that several Kosovo institutions, especially the diplomatic missions, recorder hack attacks. He said that all attacks were fended off and that no damage was made, koha.net reported.

“The attacks came from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and one part of Macedonia. All the attacks were blocked,” Gashi said.

The aim of the attack was to block all electronic addresses of Kosovo institutions.

“We kept control over all the electronic systems of Kosovo institutions, so there is no need to be alarmed. This was a massive attack by unknown perpetrators mostly from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina,” Gashi said.
