At least two separate gatherings in support of the Dragicevic family are being organized in Serbia on Wednesday, a day after the arrest of Davor Dragicevic who has been protesting for months demanding to know the circumstances of his son David's death.
The Don’t Drown Belgrade initiative organized a gathering titled A Heart for David in front of the Belgrade University School of Philosophy to show support for Davor Dragicevic following his apprehension and protest what it said was police brutality in Banja Luka.

Police and protesters clashed in the north-western Bosnia's city of Banja Luka during and after the apprehension of Davor Dragicevic who has been protesting on a central square, demanding to know the circumstances surrounding the death of his son David. A memorial to David was also removed from the square amid a strong police presence. David’s mother said there were indications that Serbian police personnel were present in Banja Luka as well.
“The level of police brutality which we saw in Banja Luka yesterday showed that the state is not protecting its citizens but its own particular interests,” the initiative’s frontman Dobrica Veselinovic told N1.
A similar gathering has been announced in the Vojvodina city of Zrenjanin, some of whose residents have family ties in Bosnia.
