The Blagaj Fortress – A journey into the time of kings and knights

N1

The Blagaj Fortress, or Stjepan Grad, still stands tall near the town of Blagaj in the south of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and those who listen carefully can hear its walls whisper centuries-old stories from the times of kings and knights.

Built on a high, almost inaccessible hill, it was one of the residences of Duke Sandalj Hranic in early 1400, and then of his nephew, Grand Duke Stjepan Vukcic Kosaca, hence the name ‘Stjepan Grad’.

A video by Dron.ba, in cooperation with N1, shows the rays of the sun hitting those walls and bringing the fortress alive.
