PM wishes Bosnia-born NBA player Jusuf Nurkic a swift recovery

Bosnia’s prime minister wished Bosnian-born NBA player Jusuf Nurkic a swift recovery after he suffered a severe leg injury during a game on Monday evening.

Nurkic, a member of the Portland Trail Blazers, broke his left leg during a match against the Brooklyn Nets and will thus not be able to participate in the playoffs, which are to begin within a month.

Jusuf was, is and will continue to be one of the best ‘sports’ ambassadors of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and a big thank you to him for that. We are all with you!” Denis Zvizdic, the Chairman of Bosnia’s Council of Ministers, tweeted.
