The Serb member of Bosnia's tripartite Presidency Milorad Dodik and his Bosniak colleague Sefik Dzaferovic met with EU's Federica Mogherini in Tirana on Thursday amid the Brdo-Brijuni Process Summit, where they agreed that the positive dynamics of Bosnia's path towards EU membership need to continue.

The two Presidency members thanked Mogherini for her previous support, saying they believe that the European Commission's Opinion on Bosnia's request to become an EU member candidate would be positive and that Bosnia's status of the EU candidate country would soon be adopted.

Last year, the European Commission sent 3,242 questions mostly concerning policy, the state of democracy and the judiciary for Bosnian authorities to answer.

These were answered and submitted in February 2018.The Questionnaire is part of the European Commission's assessment of each EU candidate country on what reforms they need to implement before becoming an EU member state.

The EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini, is a special guest of this year's Brdo-Brijuni Process Summit in Tirana and she reiterated her support to Bosnia's EU accession process.

At the end of the meeting, Bosnia's Presidency members invited Mogherini to visit their country.
