Sarajevo hosts South-East European Cooperation Process Conference

The Parliamentary Assembly of the South-East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) helped transform South-Eastern Europe from a region of open conflict and intolerance into a region of cooperation and prosperity based on common interests, the Speaker of the House of Representatives Borjana Kristo said speaking to the participants of the 6th plenary session in Sarajevo, on Saturday.

Senior officials and deputies of parliaments of eleven states in the region of Southeast Europe spoke about the better connection for a better life, as the central theme of the session and the motto of the Bosnia and Herzegovina's chairmanship of this regional initiative.

Krišto called on all parliament representatives to join the implementation of the Action Plan for the creation of a single economic space among the countries of South-East Europe, with their government representatives.

Emphasizing the importance and role of the SEECP, Kristo who is also the SEECP Chairperson called on parliamentarians, as well as representatives of all regional initiatives to continue supporting the European path of Bosnia and Herzegovina and all the countries of the region.
