Bosnia's Presidency Chairman Milorad Dodik congratulated France's Emmanuel Macron the Bastille Day and expressed hope that France will continue supporting Bosnia's European accession path as well as the pat of other Balkan countries.

“I hope that France will continue to support the European path of Bosnia and Herzegovina and other Western Balkan countries in order to join the European family, to which we belong historically and culturally,” reads the letter Dodik sent to Macron.

Dodik wished Macron and all the French people “the most sincere wishes for the National Day of France.”

He added that the Bastille Day is very symbolic not only symbolic for the French people but for the entire European continent, with “freedom, equality and fraternity” representing the values to which everyone strives.

The Presidency Chairman thanked for the help which France provides for Bosnia and expressed readiness to work together on improving cooperation in all fields.
