A place at foothills of Grmec Mountain that elves visit every night

N1

Bobijasko Oko, a karst depression hidden within the greenery of the foothills of the Grmec Mountain, northwestern Bosnia, is one of the rare locations in this part of Europe which is home to the cave salamander, endemic species colloquially known as the human fish.

A deep hole underneath the ground is filled with water, forming a lake whose size depends on the season and rainfalls.

According to a legend, elves and fairies visit this mysterious site every night.
