It is not the neighbours that are destabilizing Bosnia, but the strongest Bosniak party in the country – the Democratic Action Party (SDA) with their programme declaration, calling for territorial reorganisation of the country and the change of its name into the 'Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia's infrastructure Minister Zorana Mihajlovic said Wednesday.

“When a representative of one of three constituent peoples (in Bosnia) accuses the neighbouring countries of destabilising his country from the UN's rostrum, then we must be concerned,” Mihajlovic said.

Her response came after the Bosnian Croat Presidency Chairman Zeljko Komsic accused the neighbouring countries of destabilising the country, during his UN General Assembly speech on Tuesday.

“Serbia recognises Bosnia as a state consisting of two entities: the Federation (FBiH) and Republika Srpska (RS) and it respects the Dayton Peace Agreement (that ended the 1992-1995 war in Bosnia) as its guarantor,” she noted.

“The only destabilizer in Bosnia is the one demanding for the country's internal rearrangement without the agreement of all three peoples and the abolition of the RS – and that is Bakir Izetbegovic, the leader of the SDA,” Mihajlovic pointed out.

Earlier this month, the SDA held a party Congress in Sarajevo where they adopted a declaration, outlining the party's future goals.

Some of those goals include the creation of a democratic, regionalised, lawful and welfare state under the name of ‘Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina,’ which should have state, regional and local governments.

This caused a storm of comments from major Serb and Croat parties in the country, arguing that the declaration is a call to conflict, intolerance and that it violates the Constitution.
