The couple videoed handing out anti-N1 flyers during a gathering in support of the station said on Wednesday that they had been manipulated.

Alen and Pendija Redzepovic told N1 that a man wearing a T-shirt with the N1 logo had given them the flyers (in the form of a booklet stamped N1 Passport) to hand out at the Journalists Against Phantoms protest in front of the Serbian government headquarters.

They said the man told them the flyers were in support of N1.   The Redzepovic’s were interviewed on camera by a KRIK investigative portal reporter who posted the video on social networks. They told the reporter that they could not say who gave them the flyers to hand out.

“We were tricked and manipulated. Insulted. Yes, there was cause for people who do not know our side of the story to insult and humiliate us but they should hear our side of the story,” Pendija Redzepovic said.

“We are not bots, not supporters of any party nor are we against any party. We simply have nothing to do with politics. I’m a musician,” Alen Redzepovic said.
