Bosnian Serb and Croat leaders, Milorad Dodik and Dragan Covic, met on Sunday in Bratislava with Slovakia’s Foreign Minister and the former international administrator in Bosnia, Miroslav Lajcak, Srna news agency reported.

According to the brief report, the officials discussed the current political developments and the stalemate in Bosnia, triggered by the failure to form the authorities following the 2018 general election.

The government formation was supposed to be discussed by the leaders of two election winner parties, the Croat Democratic Union (HDZ BiH) and the Party of Democratic Action (SDA), on Monday but the meeting was abruptly called off Sunday evening.

Both political parties confirmed the cancellation without further explaining the reasons behind that decision.
