Serbian President admitted to hospital

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has been admitted to hospital with cardiovascular problems, a press release from the President’s General Secretariat said.

Vucic was admitted to the Military Medical Academy (VMA) in Belgrade on Friday afternoon, the press release said without providing any other details of the president’s ailment.  

N1 was told in the Presidency that Vucic is stable. The presidency sources could not say when he would be discharged, adding that it depends on assessments by his doctors.
