Pope Francis: Cordial greetings to Bosnian nation

As his plane was flying over Bosnia on the way to the Far East on Tuesday evening, Pope Francis conveyed a message to Bosnian Presidency Chairman Zeljko Komsic and peoples of Bosnia, Sarajevo flight control confirmed for media.

Al Italia's pilot contacted the flight control at 8 p.m., sending the message that the Pope wishes to tell the Bosnian nation and its Presidency Chairman

“To his excellency Zeljko Komsic, Chairman of Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. As I fly over Bosnia and Herzegovina on my apostolic journey to Thailand and Japan, I send cordial greetings to your Excellency and your fellow citizens imposing the blessing of mighty God for the nation. I pray that He may grant you all peace and well-being. Franciscus Papa”, said the message.

Pope Francis paid a visit to Bosnia in June 2015, where he met the Catholic Church eldership as well as the senior state officials.
