Croatian police discover 71 migrants hidden in forest east of Rijeka

The police in Primorje-Gorski Ktar County on Friday afternoon caught 71 illegal migrants hiding in Zlobin Forest 25 kilometres east of Rijeka and brought them into the police station, the local police reported on Saturday.

The irregular migrants had no identity documents and their identification is under way.

None of them has expressed the intention to seek asylum.

Zlobin Forest is on the slopes of Mount Tuhobic overlooking the coastal town of Bakar.
