Montenegrin man arrested in Bosnia with 100 kilograms of drugs

Bosnia's Special police arrested a man from Montenegro after finding 100 kilograms of drugs in his car, on Sunday.

While conducting the operation code-named “A1,” the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) searched a vehicle driven by a Montenegrin citizen where they found 100 bags of what appears to be Cannabis.

The operation was conducted in the Trebinje area, southern Bosnia, and in cooperation with officers of the BiH Border Police and officials of the Indirect Taxation Authority.

The SIPA said that they discovered a refurbished gas tank in the suspect's car where narcotics were discovered along with other objects that could serve as evidence in further criminal proceedings.

After the criminal processing in SIPA, the suspect will be handed over to the Prosecutor of the State Prosecutor's Office for further procedure.
