Serb member of Bosnia's tripartite Presidency Milorad Dodik and Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan agreed in a phone conversation Wednesday evening that appointment of the new government in Bosnia opens the door for near implementation of regional projects, according to a brief statement issued by the Presidency member's office.

“Turkish President expressed content over the reached agreement of election winners on the formation on new Council of Minister, which, as the collocutors agreed, opens the door for near implementation of already agreed projects some of which have regional importance, such as the highway connecting Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republika Srpska (one of two Bosnia's semi-autonomous regions) and Serbia,” said the statement.

Dodik and Erdogan also agreed that all necessary preconditions have been created towards solving open issues in the interest of all citizens in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
