Strong Serbia means strong Republika Srpska (RS) entity, Bosnia's Serb Presidency Chairman Milorad Dodik said Wednesday congratulating the end of construction of the Milos the Great (Milos Veliki) highway section linking Serbia with the Serb-dominated Bosnian entity.

“Whatever good happens in Serbia is good for Republika Srpska, Whatever good happens in the RS is good for Serbia,” Dodik told the RS entity television (RTRS). “This is a great day. This is a day to congratulate a great success and everything that's been done over time – especially in this year with regard to highway and infrastructure construction.”

He noted that strong Serbia means strong Serb people and the RS, arguing that the entire region is thus more stable and better.

“This is our success too because this section leading to Cacak and Uzice (in Serbia) should llinkVisegrad and this part of the RS with central Serbia,” the Serb Presidency member said.

The Milos the Great section is 17.6 kilometres long and spans from Surcin to Obrenovac. With this act, the 120-kilometre long Belgrade-Cacak highway was finally completed.
