North Macedonia’s Health Care Minister Venko Filipce said on Wednesday that the number of coronavirus cases in the country had risen to 35.

He said in a Facebook post that four new cases had been confirmed, all of them in the capital Skoplje, adding that all four were in stable condition.  

According to the North Macedonia Health Care Ministry, 23 of the coronavirus cases are in the northern town of Debar along the border with Albania which has been placed in quarantine, while the other 12, including one who has been cured, are in Skoplje.
