Bosnia’s tripartite Presidency asked the Council of Ministers on Sunday to immediately close all border crossings except for those where quarantines in military tents have been set up.

The request, which was the result of an emergency Presidency session, comes after a series of measures was introduced in the country to stop the spread of COVID-19. Bosnia had 94 confirmed COVID-19 cases on Sunday morning and saw its first coronavirus-related death the day before.

Both of Bosnia’s semi-autonomous regions have meanwhile introduced curfews.
