Bosnia-born NBA player Bojan Bogdanovic donated $50,000 to the Mostar University Clinical Hospital for the purchase of a new respirator which strongly needed during the COVID-19 crisis.

"We are extremely glad to share with the public that our famous basketball player from Mostar, Bojan Bogdanovic, decided to donate $50.000 to the Mostar University Clinical Hospital for the purchase of a new respirator," hospital director Ante Kvesic said on Tuesday.

He thanked Bogdanovic and his family on behalf of the hospital and all of its patients and expressed hope that others who have the means to do so would follow the NBA player's example "now when any kind of help is more than welcome."
