Bosnia has on Wednesday started implementing the decision to ban entry to foreign nationals, adopted to prevent COVID-19 from spreading, said the head of the Border Police, Radisa Samardzija.

He said that the Border Police received the Council of Ministers decision on Tuesday evening and that five foreign nationals were already turned away from the border the next morning.

“This morning four Serbian citizens and one Romanian national were rejected entry into Bosnia and Herzegovina,” Samardzija said.

Four airports across Bosnia and Herzegovina will also close by March 30th, he said.
