COVID-19 UPDATES: Bosnia confirms 190th coronavirus case, death toll at three

22:38 Bosnia confirmed its 190th COVID-19 infection case on Thursday evening, the 13th in one day. According to the healthcare authorities in Sarajevo's suburb Vogosca, the patient was in self-isolation and timely reported the symptoms.

16:52 Another four patients tested positive for COVID-19 in Bosnia on Thursday afternoon, bringing the country's total to 189. The new cases were reported in the southern towns Grude, Siroki Brijeg and Citluk.

09:21 Seven more people tested positive for COVID-19 in Bosnia's Serb-majority region and another coronavirus case was confirmed in Sarajevo, health authorities said on Thursday morning.

The Health Minister of Bosnia's Serb-majority region, Alen Seranic, said that 75 people were tested in Republika Srpska (RS) throughout the past 24 hours, with three men and four women testing positive. All of them were sent to self-isolation or quarantine.

Republika Srpska now has 121 confirmed COVID-19 cases.

Meanwhile, the head of the Sarajevo University Clinical Centre, Sebija Izetbegovic, confirmed for N1 that another person in the Sarajevo Canton tested positive.

Numerous restrictive measures have been introduced across Bosnia and Herzegovina to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, including curfews.

Three patients passed away as a consequence of the coronavirus infection.
