Two new deaths to coronavirus in Serbia, bringing total number of victims to six

Two more patients positive on COVID-19 virus died overnight, Serbia’s Health Ministry published on its website, putting a total of death cases due to coronavirus in the country to six, N1 reported on Thursday.

The total number of lethal outcome in people infected with the new coronavirus in Serbia is six.

An 80-year-old man who died overnight had been hospitalised in the Infectious and Tropical Diseases Clinic in Belgrade.

According to information on the Ministry’s covid19.rs website, “the man has been on a respirator for the last several days… He also had cardiomyopathy, high blood pressure, chronic obstructive lung disease and diabetes Mellitus.”

The other victim, the 62-year-old woman, was hospitalised in Nis’s Clinical Centre. She had also been on a respirator, and suffered from diabetic and high blood pressure as well as rheumatoid arthritis, the covid.rs website said.

On Wednesday, Serbia’s medical team reported a total of 384 confirmed cases of COVID-19 virus infection.
