Medical workers are at the forefront of the global battle against the coronavirus pandemic and, as a tribute for their efforts, N1 gathered citizens from across the world to sing “We are the Champions” for them.

More than 20 percent of the world’s medical workers have been infected with the coronavirus as they represent the first and last lines of defence against the invisible enemy that has brought the world to a halt.

While the best way to show gratitude to these heroes is to stay at home and follow their advice, people from across the world have, together with N1, decided to do a little something extra.

Since these are not professional musicians, the interpretation of the popular song may be out of tune at times. But one thing is certain – it comes from the heart.
