Eleven new cases of coronavirus in Croatia

Eleven new cases of the coronavirus have been identified in Croatia over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of infected persons to 2,207, the National Civil Protection Authority said on Tuesday.

“A total of 47,480 tests have been conducted, 1,409 over the past 24 hours. The percentage of positive tests is 4.65%,” Health Minister Vili Beros told a press conference.

There have not been any new deaths since yesterday and the death toll in Croatia stands at 91.

Eleven patients are on ventilators and 159 are being treated in hospitals, which is one fewer than yesterday. So far 1,115 people have recovered from the virus at home, 15 more than yesterday.

A total of 693 healed patients have been discharged from hospital, which is nine more than on Monday, bringing the total number of people who were treated in hospital and recovered from the infection to 1,808, 24 more than on Monday.
