Bosnia reports 16 new Covid-19 cases, as Tesanj cluster stagnates

Bosnian health authorities confirmed 16 new Covid-19 cases over the past 24 hours, 13 from the Serb-dominated Republika Srpska (RS) entity and three from the Bosniak-Croat shared Federation (FBiH) entity.

After testing 237 samples, the RS health authorities confirmed 13 new cases. The FBiH health authorities reported only three new cases after testing 368 samples. They said that all three cases belong to the Tesanj cluster, which is showing signs of stagnation.

There were no virus-related fatalities in the country.

The state Civil Affairs Ministry said that the overall number of confirmed cases in the country now stands at 2,510 of which 1,862 recovered and 153 had died.
