Montenegro reports 60 new coronavirus cases

Montenegrin Health Institute said on Monday that out of 511 tested, 60 people were confirmed positive, the Anadolu news agency reported.

“Among the new cases, a majority is in Podgorica, where 37 patients are positive. Thirty of all newly infected are from previously tested positive, while for the others the sources of the infection are still being looked for,” the Institute said in a statement.

Since the beginning of June, 517 people have been confirmed infected, and five have died from COVID-19 in the coastal republic.

Being the last European country which reported the epidemic, Montenegro's authorities declared the end of it on June 2.
