Slovenia reports 34 new cases of infection with coronavirus

Of 1,159 tests for COVID-19 performed in Slovenia in the last 24 hours, 34 have returned positive, the country's authorities reported on Saturday.

This was twice as high as on Friday.

Currently, there are 256 active COVID-19 cases, including 16 patients who are being treated in hospitals.

Since its first reported case in Slovenia, its epidemiological authorities have to date diagnosed 1,827 with this disease. Of them, 111 have died due to the coronavirus-related complications.
