The head of Bosnia's intelligence agency, Osman Mehmedagic, has tested positive for the coronavirus, the institution said on Thursday.
“The General Director is in isolation with mild symptoms and follows the instructions of epidemiologists. The Agency has taken all necessary steps to implement the recommended hygienic and epidemiological measures in such situations, and all work processes are continuing without any delays,” the agency said.
All employees who had contact with Mehmedagic were sent home and instructed to report to health authorities, it said.
Mehmedagic is the latest of several officials who tested positive for the virus recently, including the Prime Ministers of both of Bosnia’s semi-autonomous entities.
