Bosnia reports 267 new coronavirus infections

Another 267 infections with the novel coronavirus have been confirmed in Bosnia's two semi-autonomous regions since Wednesday, 182 in the Federation and 85 in Republika Srpska, the entity healthcare authorities confirmed on Thursday. Six new Covid-19 deaths were also reported in the country since the last update.

According to the Civil Affairs Ministry, the total of 7,681 Covid-19 patients has been confirmed in the country to date. With six new fatalities recorded over the last 24 hours, the country's death toll stands at 240.

The total of 3,534 patients has recovered.

The FBiH has performed 1,300 lab tests over the last 24 with 182 positive outcomes. To this date the region has reported 4,170 patients, with 1,709 of those who have recovered, and 92 deaths.

The healthcare authorities in RS have performed 472 lab tests since the last update, with 85 positive outcomes. The region has confirmed 3,425 Covid-19 patients since the epidemic outbreak, with 1,758 recoveries and 143 deaths.

Brcko District, a separate administrative unit in the north of the country, has so far reported 87 coronavirus infections. To this day, 23 patients have recovered and five died.
