Top Bosnian Serb officials congratulate Eid al-Adha

The Serb member of Bosnia’s tripartite Presidency and the President of its Republika Srpska (RS) region congratulated upcoming Eid al-Adha to all Muslims in Bosnia.

“On the occasion of Eid al-Adha, one of the greatest Muslim holidays, I extend my sincere congratulations to all believers of the Islamic faith in Republika Srpska, the Federation (FBiH, Bosnia’s other semi-autonomous entity) and Bosnia and Herzegovina. May the joy of this great holiday enter your hearts and homes and guide you to do good deeds,” said Presidency member Milorad Dodik in his note addressed to the head of Bosnia’s Islamic Community, muftis, imams and believers.

“On the occasion of the upcoming Eid al-Adha, I extend my sincere congratulations to you and all believers of the Islamic faith in the Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina, wishing you to spend this great religious holiday in peace, good health, happiness and prosperity, together with your families, friends and neighbours,” RS President Zeljka Cvijanovic said in her note.”Let the warmth of the holidays be an inspiration for a better life and an incentive for mutual respect, bonding and tolerance,” she said.
