Bosnia records 231 new Covid-19 cases and nine virus-related fatalities

Bosnian health authorities reported 231 new Covid-19 cases on Saturday, 162 from the Bosniak-Croat shared Federation (FBiH) entity and 69 from the Serb-dominated Republika Srpska (RS) entity. The authorities added there were nine virus-related fatalities in the country.

The FBiH health authorities said they tested 444 samples of which 162 came back positive. The entity recorded four virus-related fatalities.

The RS health officials said they tested 522 samples of which 69 tested positive for SARS-COV-2. This entity recorded four virus-related fatalities.

The authorities in the northern Brcko District, not dominated by either of the three constituent peoples reported no infections but noted that one person died as a result of the new coronavirus.
