Bosnia reports 366 new Covid patients, 11 fatalities

Another 366 cases of coronavirus infections and 11 related deaths have been confirmed in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the last 24 hours, the healthcare authorities confirmed on Friday.

According to official statistics by the Civil Affairs Ministry, the country has to date reported 17,396 Covid-19 patients, with 11,157 of those who recovered, and 526 deaths.

This leaves the whole country with 5,713 active cases.

The healthcare authorities of the Federation, one of two Bosnia's semi-autonomous regions, have performed 1,339 coronavirus tests in the last 24 hours, with 225 positive outcomes. The region has to date confirmed 10,475 Covid-19 patients, with 7,033 of those who recovered, and 282 deaths.

As for Republika Srpska, the other semi-autonomous part, its healthcare authorities have performed 554 lab tests since the last update and confirmed 139 new Covid-19 patients. So far, the region has reported 6,648 cases of which 3,967 have recovered and 227 died.

Brcko District, a separate administrative unit in the north, has confirmed 273 Covid-19 patients, two more in the last 24 hours. To this date, 157 have recovered and 17 died as a consequence of the coronavirus infection.
