Bosnia and Herzegovina has recorded 338 new Covid-19 patients and three coronavirus-related fatalities over the last 24 hours, while 356 patients recovered from the disease, the healthcare authorities said on Friday.

According to official statistics, the country's coronavirus total stands at 21,142. With the increasing number of daily recoveries (14,476), which often exceeds the number of newly reported patients, and 639 Covid-19 deaths, Bosnia and Herzegovina currently has 6,027 active cases.

To date, 194,851 lab tests have been performed in the country – 124,943 in the Federation, 66,799 in Republika Srpska and 3,109 in Brcko District – three administrative units running their healthcare systems separately.

Federation has so far confirmed 13,194 cases, 365 deaths and 9,595 recoveries, while the official figures in Republika Srpska show 7,657 cases, 255 deaths and 4,628 recoveries.

Brcko District has reported 291 cases, 19 deaths and 253 recoveries.
