Bosnia reports 99 new coronavirus cases, 119 daily recoveries

Bosnia and Herzegovina has recorded significantly lower daily coronavirus count on Monday as a consequence of low testing during the weekend, with 38 new cases reported in Republika Srpska and 61 in Federation, the healthcare authorities of two Bosnia's semi-autonomous regions confirmed.

According to official statistics, the country's coronavirus total stands at 21,660. With 14,830 patients who have recovered and 664 deaths, Bosnia and Herzegovina currently has 6,166 active cases.

Over the past 24 hours, the healthcare authorities confirmed 119 recoveries.

To date, 198,511 lab tests have been performed in the county – 127,281 in the Federation, 68,065 in Republika Srpska and 3,165 in Brcko District – three administrative units running their healthcare systems separately.

Federation, the most populated part, has so far confirmed 13,566 cases, 381 deaths and 9,695 recoveries, while the official figures in Republika Srpska show 7,802 cases, 264 deaths and 4,879 recoveries.

Brcko District has reported 292 cases, 19 deaths and 256 recoveries.
