Bosnian midfielder Miralem Pjanic signed a deal with FC Barcelona on Tuesday, thus officially becoming their new reinforcement.

Pjanic signed a four-year contract until the end of 2023/2024 campaign and the buy out clause is worth €400 million.

The Tuzla born midfielder came to Barca from Juventus where he will remain until the end of 2019/2020 season.

His transfer to Barcelona will be compensated with €60 million (plus bonuses worth five million euros), making him the most expensive football player in Bosnia's history.

Before him, the record was held by Edin Dzeko for whom Manchester City paid €37 million.

The Little Prince, as Pjanic is affectionately called in Bosnia, will wear the jersey number 8, just as the Catalan legend Andres Iniesta did.
