Croatia can not support a “one-sided” interpretation of the 1995 Dayton Pece Agreement and any attempts to endanger the equality of the three constitutional peoples in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatian President, Zoran Milanovic, said on Wednesday after meeting with the Serb member of Bosnia’s tripartite Presidency, Milorad Dodik.
The two spoke about Bosnia and its Euro-Atlantic integration, the implementation of the Dayton Agreement and the position of the three constitutional peoples in the country – Croats, Bosniaks and Serbs – Milanovic’s office said.

Dodik previously said that he would discuss the “unfavourable activities” of international administrators in Bosnia and Herzegovina – the High Representatives, as well as the “disrespect for the Dayton Agreement” with Milanovic.
“The interest of the Republic of Croatia is a stable and functional Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as ensuring equal rights for Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina as equal and constitutional peoples. This is why Croatia can not remain passive and will not support initiatives that go in a direction of a one-sided revision of the Dayton Agreement which would engender peace and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina and southeastern Europe,” the statement by Milanovic’s office said.
It also said that the dialogue between the representatives of the three peoples in Bosnia is important for realising a stable and functional country and that Croatia is prepared to contribute to that.
