Bosnia records 235 new coronavirus cases, another 12 fatalities due to COVID-19

Health authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina reported on Thursday that 235 people tested positive for the coronavirus across the country since the day before and that 12 more people died due to COVID-19.

The Public Health Institute of Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) region said that 154 of the 1,487 samples tested in the past 24 hours were positive and 11 people passed away due to the disease.

In the other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS), 81 people tested positive of the 544 tested and one person died due to COVID-19.

A total of 26,316 people tested positive for the coronavirus in Bosnia and Herzegovina and 19,142 of them recovered so far.

The COVID-19 death toll is now 802.

There are currently 6,372 active coronavirus cases in the country.
