Bosnia reports 248 new Covid-19 patients, four fatalities

Bosnia and Herzegovina has recorded another 248 Covid-19 patients and four fatalities in the last 24 hours, the healthcare authorities reported on Friday.

According to official statistics, the country's coronavirus total stands at 26,384. To this date, 19,507 patients have recovered and 808 died.

Bosnia's Federation (FBiH) entity performed 1,415 lab tests in the last 24 hours with 173 positive outcomes. Of 17,026 patients that the region recorded since the epidemic outbreak, 13,197 have recovered. The total of 491 coronavirus-related fatalities were reported in this part of the country.

Republika Srpska (RS), another semi-autonomous region, have performed 510 lab tests with 72 positive outcomes. The total of 6,030 of 9,048 reported patients has recovered to date. 296 died of coronavirus-related complications.

Brcko District, a separate administrative unit in the north, have reported 310 Covid-19 patients, three in the last 24 hours. To date, 280 have recovered and 21 died.
