Members of the Infantry Light Battalion Group (INF-L-BNG) of Bosnia's Armed Forces (AF BiH) completed a four-day exercise Thursday at the military training ground "Manjaca" in order to perform NATO assessment (NEL-1) under the Operational Capabilities Concept (OCC E&F).

the Infantry Light Battalion Group has successfully implemented an exercise for the purpose of NEL-1 assessment from September 21 to 24. The exercise was attended by three infantry companies, a logistics company, an artillery battery, a combat support company, a Military Police Department, a CIMIC and a HUMINT team with over 800 members of the AF BiH.

The AF BiH unit showed a high level of training and interoperability in accordance with NATO standards, which should ultimately result in a positive assessment by the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE), which will be announced in 30 days.

According to the initial assessment, the Infantry Light Battalion Group has successfully met the prescribed norms and standards.
