Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed 235 new cases of infection with the novel coronavirus, the healthcare authorities reported on Saturday.

With 174 new cases reported in Bosnia's Federation (FBiH) region, 59 in Republika Srpska (RS) region and two more in Brcko District, the country's coronavirus total now stands at 26,619.

To this date, about 20,000 patients have recovered and more than 800 died as a result of the complications caused by the coronavirus.

By Friday, the healthcare authorities have performed 232,973 lab tests checking for presence of the novel coronavirus.
