Bosnia logs 123 new coronavirus cases and two deaths due to COVID-19

Health authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina have reported 123 new coronavirus cases and two more deaths due to COVID-19 across the country on Sunday, excluding the results of the testing conducted in the Brcko District.

In Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) region, 62 of the 429 samples tested came back positive for the virus and one person passed away due to the disease since Saturday.

In the other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS), 61 of the 369 people tested were positive and one person died.

Results of the testing conducted in the Brcko District in the past 24 hours are yet to be reported.

More than 26,000 people have tested positive for the coronavirus in Bosnia and nearly 20,000 of them have recovered so far. More than 800 people have died due to COVID-19 in the country.
