Bosnia records 703 new coronavirus cases, 18 fatalities

Bosnia has recorded another 703 coronavirus infections, a daily count slightly lower than in previous days, due to the lower number of people who were tested over the last weekend. The country has also reported 18 more fatalities.

Healthcare authorities of the Federation (FBiH) entity performed 952 lab tests and reported 383 new Covid-19 patients.

The region has so far performed 194,588 lab tests with 26,740 positive outcomes. To this date, 709 patients died (12 in the last 24 hours) and 18,292 have recovered.

As for Republika Srpska, its healthcare authorities confirmed 318 new patients out of 881 lab tests that have been performed since the last update.

This part of the country has to this date confirmed 14,452 patients. The total of 7,952 have recovered and 372 died (five in the last 24 hours).

Brcko District has reported two more coronavirus cases and one death. The coronavirus total in this administrative unit is 404, with 299 of those who have recovered and 23 who died.

According to Bosnia's Civil Affairs Ministry, there are 13,950 active cases across the country. The total of 296,339 tests for coronavirus have been performed since the epidemic outbreak.
