The proposal to employ those educated for health care who are currently registered at the unemployment bureau came from the head of the KS Public Health Institute, DR. Muhamed Ahmic.

According to the ‘COVID-19’ project, “102 health workers from the unemployment bureau will be hired,” Ahmic said.

“The salaries, provided by the KS Government, will be 2,500 Bosnian Marks for university graduates and 1,500 Bosnian Marks for high school graduates. According to the project, 20 of them go to social services institutions, 36 to the General Hospital and the Emergency Room, and 10 to the public health centres,” he said.

Dr. Ahmic said that there are some 600 people with medical education registered as unemployed in KS.
