Rescuers are still trying to pull 32 people out from under the rubble in Izmir, Turkey on Sunday following the devastating earthquake that hit the town on Friday which, according to Turkey’s current Vice-President, Fuat Oktay, caused 51 deaths so far.

Thirty-three hours after a strong earthquake hit the Turkish city of Izmir, early on Sunday, a 55-year-old man was rescued from the rubble and taken to the hospital for treatment.

Oktay said that the government plans to set up 3,880 tents in the Bornova, Bayrakli, Buca and Konak districts.

By 9:35 am GMT, another 850 quakes measured above 4 in magnitude hit the region.At least 850 people were injured during the first earthquake on Friday.

Meanwhile, 682 people were discharged from hospitals and 214 are still being treated.
